Community Climate Action Plan Introductory Webinar - April 22, 2021

This webinar is the public launch of the Community Climate Action Plan (CCAP)! The event was opened by City Manager Marchell Adams-David, with panelists Michael Moore (Transportation), Ken Bowers (Planning and Development), Rich Kelly (Engineering Services) and Wayne Miles (Stormwater). Megan Anderson from the Office of Sustainability introduced the plan and moderated the panel discussion.

Building Sustainability Webinar

To mark Building Safety Month, this event digs in to opportunities for innovation in energy. Panelists include: Daniel Dittman from the NC Department of Insurance, Daniel Pate from the NC Sustainable Energy Association and Paula Hemmer from the NC State Energy

Sustainable Transportation Strategies

This panel discussion at the GoGreen Raleigh Transportation event focused on the climate impacts of transportation and transitioning city fleet vehicles toward low- and zero-emission vehicles. 

Raleigh/Durham HeatWatch Data Release Webinar

In this webinar, project partners of the Raleigh/Durham HeatWatch project presented data gathered in a citizen science project to map urban heat islands in Raleigh and Durham County.  More about this project can be found on the Mapping Urban Heat Islands webpage
