Basic Construction Skills Training

Are you looking for training to begin a construction career? We can help! 

In partnership with the North Carolina Home Builders Association, 3 seven-week courses will be offered. The seven-week course will provide participants with basic carpentry skills. The course is a combination of in-class instruction and hands-on building experiences.

Participants will receive:

  • Books 
  • Tools
  • Weekly stipend
  • Course Completion Certificate

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be ready for a job in construction!

Courses are scheduled:
*Course dates may be altered or changed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

1st class: October 5 - November 20, 2020
2nd class: February 15-  April 2, 2021
3rd class: May 10 - June 25, 2021

All courses are held at the Raleigh Pathways Center(900 S. Wilmington St)

While class is in session, the course will be from 9 a.m. - noon Monday- Friday.
