Water and Sewer

Walnut Creek Pump Station

Odor Control

The existing odor control equipment is outdated and not performing sufficiently. The removal and replacement of this outdated equipment is scheduled to take place during the life of this project. Two new bio-towers and one new carbon scrubber will be installed. The two bio-towers are filled with a foam substance. Air is pulled into the towers and across this substance to remove odor. This air is then moved through a carbon scrubber for added odor control. Additionally, the project construction will add new duct-work and covers.
