Design

The plans for this project include installation of a variable width sidewalk with a variable width setback from the curb on the southeast side of Yadkin Drive from Alleghany Drive to Staley Court transitioning to a 6-foot wide sidewalk on a 3.5-foot setback from the curb on the southeast side from Staley Court to Currituck Drive.

The variable sidewalk width and setback from Alleghany Drive to Staley Court are needed to allow a match and connection to the existing sidewalk across the bridge over Crabtree Creek.

Next Steps

Construction is scheduled to begin late this fall.
