The project was redesigned to reduce construction costs after initial bids came in higher than expected. We rebid the project and selected D.H. Griffin to complete the construction work.

Improvements

The project reduces:

  • Street flooding along Ramblewood Drive;
  • Streambank erosion that caused property damage and loss; and,
  • Frequency of yard/home flooding along on the northern side of the street.

History

Residents expressed concern with the condition of the streambank and flooding on Ramblewood Drive. The road flooded with water about 10 times a year because the pipes in the area were too small. There was also concern with trees near the stream impacting homes.
