The Powell Drive Park Neighborhood Center Facility Upgrades project was a complete interior renovation including alterations to the room layouts; enhanced front entry area; new windows and doors; renovations to the restrooms including Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements; new externally accessible restrooms on the playground side of the building; new Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system; and improved networking systems. Additional improvements included new lighting, acoustic improvements to the main meeting room, and new ceilings and flooring. This project was completed in Spring 2020.
This project was one of three neighborhood center renovation projects funded by the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department (PRCR) 2014 bond referendum.
