Old Deer Trail Sidewalk Project

We are installing a new sidewalk!

The Old Deer Trail sidewalk project was initiated as a City of Raleigh Sidewalk Petition.

We will install a 5-foot sidewalk placed 3.5 feet from the back of the curb from Mourning Dove Road to just north of Apple Orchard Way.

There may be adjustments to the sidewalk to avoid major impacts in certain areas as needed and determined by our engineering staff.

The project has been combined with other sidewalk projects on Centennial parkway and Raleigh Boulevard for construction. Our construction contractor, JSmith Civil, will begin work mid to late-September and should be completed with all three sidewalks by Dec. 2020. The work will take place during business hours from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday thru Friday, and may include some Saturday work.

We will make every effort to minimize any inconvenience during construction and greatly appreciated your patience and cooperation.
