Neuse River Resource Recovery Facility Return Activated Sludge (RAS) Screw Pump Replacement

This project consists of replacement of nine existing RAS screw pumps. There are three screw pumps at three cell locations found on-site. Also, project will cover all associated electrical upgrades along with repairs to concrete structures and railings. The replacement of the screw pumps will improve the efficiency of the wastewater treatment process and provide a more reliable system for community use.

The Neuse River Resource Recovery Facility RAS Screw Pump Replacement Project was identified in the Sustainable Infrastructure / Asset Management Program Assistance Project as an asset in poor condition and highly critical to help the city safely process wastewater.
