Traffic Calming Projects are projects that the Neighborhood Streetscape Program have passed onto our department. We complete engineering designs and manage the construction of these projects.

The goal of the Neighborhood Streetscape Program is to improve street safety for:

  • Motorists;
  • Pedestrians;
  • Bicyclists; and,
  • Improve the living conditions for residents along a street.

Treatments to the street enhance the appearance and slow down motor-vehicle traffic.
