Little Creek UV Channel

Water and Sewer

Little Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Ultraviolet System Replacement

The existing Ultraviolet disinfection* unit is outdated and requires upgrading. Project will construct a new system that includes inclined Ultraviolet lamps. A new Ultraviolet water channel will be constructed along with a new flow measurement system.

* This type of wastewater disinfection process instantly neutralizes microorganisms as they pass by ultraviolet lamps. Nothing is added to the treated wastewater through this process.
