Complete

Construction for this project is complete! Crews worked on repairing the streambank near an end townhome unit on Doverton Court. This included:

  • Creating more of a vertical slope on the streambank. This was done by adding a boulder toe and encapsulated fill near the stream.

These changes help prevent erosion and provide a safe distance between the townhome foundation and the top portion of the streambank.

Background

The project was originally identified in 2016. At that time, the streambank erosion was about 15 feet from the home on Doverton Court. Since then, we've reprioritized the project based on the stream's condition.
