History

This replacement project was initially identified as part of the 2014 Sanitary Sewer Capacity Study due to wet weather capacity shortfalls. The Study stated that limited capacity causes the model to predict future overloads and overflows. The risk of overloads and overflows means the project is deemed critical due to potential impact on health and safety.

This replacement project will limit sanitary sewer overflows associated with wet weather events. Surrounding streams and environments are then protected through this limitation.
