Volunteers Needed for Mud Day!

Saturday, August 20, Walnut Creek Wetland Park will be celebrating their fourth award-winning Mud Day.  A one-of-a-kind event like no other, children and the young-at-heart will come together for lots of fun, some of it muddy!  There will be food trucks, a mud kitchen, crafts, fun activities and yes, even a giant mud pit!  This event needs a LOT of volunteers.  Volunteers may be expected to refill the water guns that “kill” the invasive Emerald Ash Borer, apply tattoos to little arms, help people to make a river rock turtle, or keep the line moving at the obstacle course and mud pit.  It is a lot of fun and there is nothing like it anywhere else!  All volunteers have access to the Canteen with snacks and beverages, and there will be food trucks on hand for self-purchase.
