The City of Raleigh Museum and The Carolinian are announcing a special temporary exhibit entitled “Good People, Good Place: The History of College Park.” From September 14-19, visitors can learn about the history, culture, and people from one of Raleigh’s oldest African American neighborhoods, College Park. The exhibit designed by community members kicks off a week-long celebration of this community founded in the shadow of St. Augustine’s University in 1920.

The exhibit is free and open to the public Tuesday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.
