Pop-up POUND® Fitness Workout

Join Raleigh Parks for a fun, full-body 30-minute POUND® Fitness workout on Mondays this summer at John Chavis Memorial Park.

Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modified, and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to all ages and fitness levels.

You may register in advance at  to claim your spot now or drop by the Chavis Community Center front desk to register.  This class is designed for ages 18 and up.  Participants must sign a waiver to participate in each class.  For assistance with registration, contact Health and Wellness Programs at 919-996-2767. 

Before You Come to Class

  • Do Not Attend class if you are feeling ill
  • Please bring a bottle of water, Yoga Mat, and a towel for your comfort.
  • Additional equipment will be provided
  • Register online via RecLink to claim your spot or stop by the Chavis Community Center front desk before the class to register and attend. 
  • Please arrive arrival 5 minutes for class.
  • Restroom facilities will be available.

During Class

  • Covid-19 Guidelines: Face Coverings are encouraged for all indoor venues and crowded outdoor events. 
  • Please check-in with staff and sign the activity sheet upon arrival.
  • All participants are encouraged to leave the class area at the end of the class.
