Join us for crafts, activities, StoryWalks and more at Raleigh Historic Sites’ Hands-On History programs! Programs will take place at Mordecai Historic Park and the Borden Building at Fletcher Park.

Butter-making, Natural Dyes, and Flower Pressing Workshops
Saturday, June 3, 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., $2 per person

Borden Building at Fletcher Park
Go on a historic food and flower adventure during the Food and Flower Festival! Make your own butter from scratch and put your own spin on it with different seasonings and herbs. Try your hand at dying fabrics with natural dyes to create a unique souvenir. Learn to preserve pressed flowers for an artistic keepsake. Pre-registration will be available on RecLink starting May 1. There will be a limited number of seats available on the day of the event on a first-come, first-served basis.
