How to Apply

Give Play is an initiative supported by the City of Oaks Foundation and the City of Raleigh Parks Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. The initiative’s goal is to remove cost as a barrier for getting children and teens engaged in park programs. Children and teens ages 5 to 13 years old are invited to apply for financial assistance to attend nature and outdoor themed summer camps at locations throughout the city.

Learn more about the City of Oaks Foundation and the Give Play Financial Assistance Program. The City of Oaks Foundation is a nonprofit conservation organization that is closely aligned with Raleigh’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. The foundation funds Give Play which underwrites financial assistance for children to participate in summer camps and nature programs. This program gives children an opportunity to explore nature and the outdoors in a way they wouldn’t ordinarily be able to do.
