Join us for a scenic 10-mile greenway bike ride!
We'll highlight birding hotspots, including Horseshoe Farm Nature Preserve, Durant Nature Preserve, Abbott's Creek Greenway Trail, and Green Hills Park.
Most of the route is paved greenway surface, with several hills and one road crossing. Bikes, helmets, binoculars, and transportation to the start of the ride will be provided. Park and meet the shuttle at the northern entrance of Durant Nature Preserve. We will ride as a group to Durant Nature Preserve, "braking" for birds and scenic overlooks. Previous biking experience is required, and participants should plan to be aerobically active for at least an hour.
