Volunteer Raleigh Program Seeks Advisory Board Members

Are you an active volunteer who wants to help others find ways to serve our community? The City of Raleigh is launching an advisory board for its Volunteer Raleigh program. The advisory board will help strengthen the City’s efforts to help residents connect with service opportunities at local nonprofits that depend on volunteers to meet community needs.

Since volunteerism covers many areas, including food security, health services, environmental impact, and housing and homelessness, individuals with a variety of interests are needed to make the advisory board a success. Prior experience is not required to join. Both newcomers to the area and long-term Raleigh residents are ideal for this opportunity to help encourage and support volunteerism.
