Get your Game On at Open Gym
Teens ages 12-17 can join us for handball and dodgeball! Bring a water bottle and prepare to break a sweat. There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required.

Teen Nutrition Classes
Learn more about the world of food! Teens, come learn about food safety, food groups, grains, fruits & vegetables, and proteins & dairy. This class will be fun and interactive! You will be engaged experientially through games, activities, and food demonstrations. And of course, you get to eat! There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required.

Teen Art Classes: Anime Painting
Join us for anime painting classes! If you enjoy creating anime drawings and painting, you will love this art session. This class will be fun and interactive, and you will create your own anime painting. Bring your sketchbook if you'd like! There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required.

Future of Parks and Recreation Professional Day
This program is designed for teens that may be interested in a career in recreation or giving back to the community. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about how to gain community service hours for school and learn about job options in the field of parks recreation.

Teen Run Club
Come join our teen run club! Teens will meet at St. Monica's Teen Center and visit Raleigh Parks sites to run on trails and greenways. Transportation from the center will be provided. Participants should wear tennis shoes and attire that is appropriate for physical activity. Teens will learn and develop a solid foundation for a happy, lifetime habit of running while developing skills and confidence. Come have fun while getting some miles in! Spots are limited, and pre-registration is required.

Teen Basketball Clinics
The Saint Monica Teen Center Basketball Program will allow teens to compete against their peers while also working on important skills to sharpen their game. Player development and open gym will improve teens’ skills as well as help parents understand how to push their children to succeed in the sport. This program is free, but registration is required.
Sessions for grades 6-8 will be on Tuesdays, 6 to 7:30 p.m. starting Oct. 5 and sessions for grades 9-12 will be on Thursdays, 6 to 7:30 p.m. starting Oct. 7.

Teen Jazz Dance Clinic
Are you a teen that loves to dance? The free expression dance clinic at St. Monica Teen Center welcomes teens of all skill levels to learn basic jazz dance moves. We will be starting with a few basic, fundamental skills and working our way up to a complete routine! If you’re interested in dancing, or just want to have some fun, come out and join us! There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required at the link below.

Teen Anime Club Escape Room
Saturday, Oct. 9, 1 to 4 p.m.
If you enjoy anime, then you won’t want to miss this event! Join us at St. Monica Teen Center on Saturday, Oct. 9, for an anime escape room as well as other anime-inspired games. The rooms of the teen center will have different anime themes as you work to solve puzzles. Additionally, we will be viewing an anime movie after the event, which will be decided upon by members of the Anime Club. This event is free, but registration is required as spots are limited.
