Gentle Yoga: Live and Virtual
Gentle Yoga is a mindful movement class in which we focus on centering through our breath/prana while warming the body up in a slow and thoughtful way. Each sequence of poses/postures is knit together in a fluid manner which allows each pose to prepare you for the next. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace. Open to all levels. Students should bring a mat or blanket. The first class is free.
Ages: 16 and up
When: Tuesdays, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Monthly fee: $50 (non-residents $65)
Chair Yoga is a specific form of yoga practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. The poses used adaptations of asanas (postures) in modern yoga. During class, we will experience breath work, movement, and meditation. The first class is free.
Ages: 55 and up
When: Tuesdays, 12 to 12:45 p.m.
Monthly fee: $20 (non-residents $35)
