Raleigh Fire Newsletter Has Launched

Make sure to subscribe to get the first edition

The Raleigh Fire Department has launched a quarterly newsletter, "Raleigh Fire News".

In the newsletter, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how our firefighters, special units and command staff prepare and respond to emergencies. You’ll also find safety tips for how to prevent fires, upcoming events, news, fire station cooking recipes and statistics.

The inaugural issue of the newsletter, released July 26, includes:

  • How an RFD team went above and beyond the call of duty in helping a Raleigh resident
  • The reason behind the second most common cause of house fires in Raleigh and how you can help prevent them
  • Fire Chief Herbert Griffin’s No. 1 priority

How to get the newsletter

It's easy. Subscribe and each edition of the quarterly newsletter will arrive in your inbox. If didn't subscribe in time to receive it, you can still view the web version of the Summer 2021 edition.
