Outdoor Fitness Classes at Lake Lynn

Looking to start or continue a healthy lifestyle? Interested in learning the basics of yoga?  Just want to take some time for yourself?

Join the new outdoor adult fitness classes at Lake Lynn Community Center. We are offering two new fitness and wellness programs for busy adults!  All classes will be held outside unless there is inclement weather and are taught by Meg Berg.  

Yoga Basics

Tuesdays, 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. starting April 6

Yoga is the perfect way to strengthen your mind and body.  This class is perfect for beginners or students that would like a refresher.  The class focuses on basic breathing and poses. Students will need to bring a yoga mat or towel. 

Fee: $40/month
Ages: 18 years and up

Nutrition and Fitness 101

Tuesdays, 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. starting April 6

This course will focus on balancing nutrition and fitness for tips for a healthy and fit lifestyle. Each week we will discuss a variety of topics that include calorie tracking, accountability, consistency, understanding food labels, grocery shopping and incorporating fitness into your schedule. The last fifteen minutes of our discussion will be a 10-15 minute workout that changes each week, such as pilates, yoga, cardio and more. Disclaimer: The purpose of this course is to provide coaching and guidance with helpful information but is not a substitute for direct medical advice from your doctor.  Please consult your doctor when starting any nutrition or fitness program.
