Raleigh Water is reminding customers who are behind on their water bills that they must contact the City to set up a payment plan to avoid a possible water shut-off. Raleigh Water has extended its suspension of water account disconnections longer than required by the COVID-related State of Emergency. But disconnections are set to begin again later this month.
It’s not too late to assure your water stays on!
Customers who are on an active payment plan will not have their water disconnected.
“What we need our customers to do is to reach out to us now so that we can get them connected to the assistance programs and get them set up on a payment plan,” said Raleigh Water’s Eileen Navarrete. “The last thing we want to do is cut off somebody’s water.”
