Council Member David Knight will host a virtual small business forum on Monday, December 14 at noon. Join the forum on Zoom. No passcode is required to attend.
The forum will include a panel discussion featuring local small business owners and operators. Council Member Knight has asked the panelists to share their experiences:
- from operating small businesses during a pandemic,
- any lessons learned from the past year,
- and their thoughts about what the future holds for small businesses, over the holidays and into the new year.
The discussion will be moderated by Jeff Murison, president and CEO of the Hillsborough Street Community Service Corporation, which also provides staff support to the Blue Ridge Corridor Alliance.
Participation is free and open to all, with no registration required; the forum will be of particular interest to those who live or work in District E, which covers the northwest section of Raleigh, including most of Five Points, the Blue Ridge and Glenwood Avenue corridors, and Brier Creek.
The City of Raleigh supports its local small business community through its Office of Economic Development & Innovation.
