Traveling to Raleigh? City and Area Groups Launch Safe Tourism Initiative

“Wish You Were Here “ campaign connects to the state’s public health initiatives

The City of Raleigh, Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau and Raleigh’s Business Alliances, created the Wish You Were Here campaign to stimulate safe tourism activity for both locals and travelers during COVID-19.

The Wish You Were Here campaign connects to the state’s Count on Me NC program which provides health and safety training to merchants.

Restaurants and hotels that go through the Count on Me NC training are certified that they are following best practices for keeping people safe in response to COVID-19.

Find out what you can expect—what's open and what safety guidelines are in place — on your next visit to the City of Oaks by going to VisitRaleigh’s website, which is run by the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The campaign launched in September with the beginning of Phase 2.5.
