In a recent artist call, Raleigh Arts asked North Carolina artists how they are staying creative during the COVID-19 stay-at-home orders. Artists submitted images of their artwork, events, and/or studio practices with a description of their work and experiences for a chance to be featured online and receive a $200 honorarium.

With over 150 submissions, Raleigh Arts has closed the artist call but will begin to feature the selected artists this month. 18 artists will be featured in 3 rounds.

Details:

  • The first round of selected artists will be featured on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter April 29 through May 1 and May 4 through May 6.
  • The second round of selected artists will be featured on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter May 18 through May 23.
  • The third round of selected artists will be featured on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter June 30 through July 3.
  • The artists will also appear in a virtual exhibition on the Raleigh Arts website.
