Increasing the supply of affordable housing and connecting it to transit, should be the City's top priorities over the next five years, according to a recent survey.
As part of the 2021-2025 Consolidated Plan process, Housing and Neighborhood's Community Development Division sent out a survey to the public focusing on goals and priorities for the next five years. A total of 581 responses were received.
Here are some other highlights from the survey:
- There is a need for more affordable housing that targets people experiencing or at risk of becoming homeless; families with children and seniors.
