The City of Raleigh named the Executive Service Corps (ESC) of the Greater Triangle recipient of a $1 million dollar ARPA grant. ESC will provide local nonprofits with leadership training and comprehensive organizational assessment guidance, as well as monetary grants.

ESC was selected by the City of Raleigh based on many factors including their well-established Board Leadership Series. ESC will further tailor their training to cover the requirements needed of nonprofits to apply for federal, state, and local grants. ESC is known for its commitment to valuing diversity, equity, and inclusion, reflecting the communities in which it serves.

Nonprofits who are interested in applying for this valuable training should fill out the interest form today!

“We are excited and enthused to be selected as the recipients of such an impactful grant,” says Candice Miles, Chair of the Board at ESC. “It exemplifies our mission of improving the sustainability of local nonprofits via our equitable and effective service offerings.”

“This is the first of several opportunities the city will present to help local nonprofits strengthen their capacity for service and develop best practices,” says Dr. Leone Lettsome, Federal Program Manager at City of Raleigh Municipal Government. “ESC understands the relationship between organizational deficiencies in areas of finance, oversight, and resource management which impacts an organization's service capacity and sustainability. Those issues, in most cases, influence an organization's ability to apply for and qualify for grant opportunities. Council and staff are happy to bring this opportunity to the community and strengthen the City’s dedication to supporting our nonprofit partners.”
