Where Do We Go From Here? Understanding the Expiring Eviction Moratorium

Add to Calendar 2021-08-17 18:00:00 2021-08-17 20:00:00 Where Do We Go From Here? Understanding the Expiring Eviction Moratorium The Raleigh Fair Housing Hearing Board is partnering with Legal Aid of North Carolina to share information and resources with the residents that may be adversely affected by the expiration of the CDC's eviction moratorium. A panel discussion and Q&A will be held via Zoom on August 17. Extensions for the protections of the CDC eviction moratorium have expired for some already and are scheduled to end nationwide on Sunday, October 3. Although the moratorium has delayed evictions, it does not relieve tenants' obligations to make future rent payments or comply with any other requirements related to rental agreements under contract. The impact of the moratorium expiring is expected to be both significant and widespread.  Click here to register!
