Residents of Van Dyke Avenue and Surrounding Neighborhood
Your street is participating in the City of Raleigh Traffic
Calming Program. On Wednesday, May 1,
the Van Dyke neighborhood was invited to attend a preliminary design meeting to
provide feedback on the design for traffic calming on Van Dyke. This design has
been updated to reflect feedback received during the open comment period. To view the proposed design approved at the preliminary
design meeting, please visit the City’s Neighborhood Traffic Management page.
At the Final Design Meeting you will be given an
opportunity to provide input on the design for traffic calming on your street.
Next Steps -
- After the meeting, City
staff will post the final design on the City’s website.
- We will send you a
final ballot to determine if you and your neighbors want the Traffic Calming
project as designed.
The Final Design Meeting will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at Jaycee Community Center, located at 2405 Wade Ave beginning at 7 p.m.
We look forward to seeing you there!
