Is there a stream in your neighborhood that you like to visit? Learn how to protect it.

You'll learn four easy steps to collecting water and aquatic insect samples from a stream. We'll use this data to track the overall health of streams in Raleigh. 

The workshop includes a hands-on experience collecting samples from a stream and learning directly from staff during a presentation. Space is limited to 15 people

Important Details

  • We are following social distancing guidelines; masks are required for the workshop. 
  • You must complete the workshop to monitor a stream.
  • Stream monitoring is great for small groups.
  • This is a free workshop.
  • We provide all volunteer supplies.
