Open house about this sanitary system improvement project
The City of Raleigh Public Utilities Department is holding an open house on June 19 about this sanitary system improvement project.
- This interceptor project is a new pipeline required for increased wastewater flow capacity that will alleviate sanitary sewer overflows during wet weather events.
- The interceptor begins near the City of Raleigh's Neuse River Resource Recovery Facility (NRRRF) at the end of Battle Bridge Road along the south side of the Neuse River. It then extends northward past Auburn-Knightdale Road and Poole Road to Anderson Point Park, ending just South of the I-495/Hwy 64 Bypass.
Please stop by Meeting Room 2 any time during the event hours to ask questions, view plans, and speak with project staff.
