NC Chamber Music Institute will present a Pop Up Parks Concert on October 30 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. This short and uplifting chamber music concert features a range of musical styles from pop to light classical. Young artists introduce their music and run their own show without a conductor! Immediately following from 2:30-4 p.m., youth musicians (ages 18 and younger) are invited to the PineCone Youth Bluegrass Jam - Halloween style! If your young musician plays fiddle (violin), guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass, or any other stringed instrument, or if they want to simply come sing along, you're invited to join in for an afternoon of playing music together! Since our jam happens to fall on the day before Halloween this month, feel free to come costumed (or to bring a spooky song). Both performances are free and open to the public.
