The Planning Commission is set to begin its review of the Equitable Development Around Transit (EDAT) Plan. The commission will look at recommended amendments to Raleigh’s 2030 Comprehensive Plan. These recommendations are intended to help implement the EDAT Plan.
The amendments involve policies that support housing affordability near transit, provide safer and more comfortable places for pedestrians, and create a more sustainable Raleigh by allowing more people to live and work near transit.
The Planning Commission’s Committee of the Whole will begin review on Thursday, November 19.
