Hosted by the Community Development Division
Please join us on Feb. 28 for a public meeting! The meeting will include an overview of the draft Annual Action Plan and the opportunity to talk to staff about what is planned for spending of federal and local funds on housing and community development needs in the coming year.
The Annual Action Plan shows how the City of Raleigh will meet its housing and community development needs in the coming fiscal year and serves as an application to the federal government (HUD) for funding.
A draft Annual Action Plan will be posted on the Housing and Neighborhoods webpage on March 1st. Public comment on this draft is encouraged. A draft summary will also be available.
Draft topics Include:
- Affordable housing;
- Improving neighborhoods; and,
- Re-housing people who are homeless.
A public hearing on the draft is planned to occur on Tuesday, April 2 after 7 p.m. in the Raleigh City Council Chamber where citizens are invited to offer public comment.
