Planning and Development staff are excited to answer your questions about the Equitable Development Around Transit (EDAT) plan. The EDAT plan is an effort to consider future growth around transit and ensure that the benefits created by transit investment are shared broadly.
The Planning Commission is set to begin its review of the EDAT Plan in the near future, which will include amendments to Raleigh’s 2030 Comprehensive Plan. These amendments involve policies that support :
- Housing affordability near transit,
- Provide safer and more comfortable places for pedestrians, and;
- Create a more sustainable Raleigh by allowing more people to live and work near transit.
We hope you will join us to talk about equitable development around transit in Raleigh! Join the virtual meeting here on November 18.
