Alasitas - Chicken Manifestation at Hen Institute by Cristal Zeballos

Add to Calendar 2021-08-01 00:00:00 2021-08-07 23:59:59 Alasitas - Chicken Manifestation at Hen Institute by Cristal Zeballos An installation at Hen Institute of the Bolivian Alasitas festival, an event that sells miniature manifestations for offering and blessing to the Ekeko figure, the Bolivian God of Abundance for good fortune and prosperity. One of these representative figures is that of a chicken, which serves as a physical embodiment and vessel for your manifestations; a visual reminder of the values, wishes, and goals to put in the forefront of our thoughts. The chickens themselves reflecting aspirations of human life and moments of interlude; creating a sense of interrelatedness and attachment between ourselves and the life cycles around us, a grounding element that can bring us clarity and relativity to our thought processes and manifestations.  Learn more about the installation Event Details When: August 1 through August 7 Location: Raleigh City Farm, 800 N.
