Join us Saturday, Feb. 2 at City of Raleigh (COR) Museum for our African American History Symposium! There will be two programs on African American travel and music:

  •  "Narrative as Reparation to History: Oral History; and Raleigh’s Green Books” presented by Janelle Jennings-Alexander, Assistant Professor of English at William Peace University and PhD candidate at Florida State University.
  • “The Joseph Winters Music, Entrepreneurship & Public Service” presented by Billy Warden: Writer (formerly of The News & Observer), Musician, Executive Producer at E! Entertainment Networks, and Marketing Executive and Co-founder of GBW Strategies.
