The City of Raleigh Arts Commission (CORAC), established in 1977, proudly holds the distinction of being the first municipal arts commission created in North Carolina. Serving as the official advisory body and advocate for the arts to the City Council, the Arts Commission is dedicated to the ongoing goal of connecting people to the arts and building a vital and ever-expanding creative community for Capital City residents and visitors.

Art Contest Exhibition On View: Saturday, April 20-Saturday, May 11, 2024 Artwork selected for Stormwater's "Capture It! Art Contest" will be on display in the Pullen Arts Center’s Youth & Teen Gallery from Saturday, April 20-Saturday, May 11, 2024.  The opening reception will be held at the Pullen Arts Center Saturday, April 27, from 2:30-4:30 pm. Two-dimensional and Three-dimensional works will be on display on the first floor. Additional artworks will be displayed via projection on the second floor during the reception. The Capture it!
