Public Project Community Support Fund

In response to the public feedback received from previous community engagement around the Equitable Development Around Transit Plan, New Bern Station Area Planning, and the Dix Edge Area Study, Raleigh has set aside money in the FY 23 Budget to fund programs that will help offset the disruption caused by large-scale public investments. The intent is to preserve neighborhood stability and enable businesses to help with neighborhood preservation. There are guidelines for qualification which include proximity to the public investment with a focus on underserved communities. Some of the projects the funds can support include:
