Traffic Barricades and Neighborhood Block Parties

For registered neighborhoods looking to use traffic barricades, please check the City's Neighborhood Block Party Requests to see if an application is needed for your event. Neighborhood block parties are small-scale events that will close a small number of blocks on a local-service, residential street.

The Office of Emergency Management and Special Events reviews applications for neighborhood block parties and other types of events. For more information, please email specialevents@raleighnc.gov or call 919-996-2200.
