Raleigh Celebrates Pollinator Week

June 20 through June 24 is Pollinator Week, a chance to celebrate pollinating species and highlight ways that the City of Raleigh and the community can protect these vital species.  Pollinators account for one out of every three bites of food that humans consume!  
 

 

Raleigh Supports Pollinator Habitat

Learn how the City of Raleigh is working to protect habitat for bees, birds, bats, butterflies, and other pollinators.

Across the City government, we are working to create habitat for pollinators in our parks, along roadways, and at city facilities like Union Station and the Raleigh Convention Center.  Learn more by visiting our pollinator protection page.

The City of Raleigh is planning a full week of events during pollinator week to educate the public and encourage protection and conservation of pollinators in our city. Check out all the great events with Raleigh Parks.
