A collage of four portrait drawings by artist Deborah Aschheim

Share Your Story and Get a Drawing of Your Portrait!

A Public Art Project

Meet artist Deborah Aschheim, share your story, and get a drawing of your portrait!

Deborah Aschheim is working on a community engagement public art project about Raleigh neighborhoods and communities. The project includes an Instagram account and upcoming public art projects that will be installed around the city. Aschheim will photograph community members and create unique drawings of the Raleigh community. Participants will get a free signed print of their drawing!

Aschheim is also making drawings from family photos. If you have photo albums of people and places that you’d like to share for this project, let us know and we can make arrangements to borrow digital scans of your pictures for her to draw.
