About We Art a Village
We Art a Village is a series of community workshops guided by Justin Perry that will transform public spaces using micrography murals to connect the community to their neighborhoods. This project will bring together local youth to positively transform public spaces, provide a visual history of a community, communicate important messages, and shift perceptions.
Micrography artwork is created from text that forms an image when viewed at a distance. The murals include visual art and creative writing created in community workshops with the goal of creation, storytelling, personal history, beautification, and spoken word.

SEEK Raleigh is an experimental public art program by Raleigh Arts that engages the community through public art in City of Raleigh Parks, greenways, and/or community spaces. The program provides an opportunity for artists to introduce the public to new, unusual, and thought-provoking experiences through temporary public art.
