Raleigh Arts is pleased to be a community partner for the Downtown Raleigh Alliance's Illuminate, a self-guided art walk that brings over 10 locally and nationally-recognized light-based art installations to Downtown Raleigh this holiday season. Two pieces from our Municipal Art Collection are included in the art walk, Shimmer Wall by Thomas Sayer and SONARC by Brian Brush.
The majority of the pieces are located in the Fayetteville Street district with several along Glenwood South as well. The installations shine nightly from December 2, 2022, to January 14, 2023, and are free and open to the public. Learn more and experience Illuminate
