Camp Specialist - Artist Studio Summer Camp

Pullen Arts Center is seeking responsible, enthusiastic individuals who love working with teens and pre-teens to serve as Camp Specialists for Artist Studio Summer Camp 2024. Camp Specialists will assist Teaching Artists and Camp Director in executing visual arts programming and recreational activities for 4-week arts based day camp for teens and pre-teens (Ages 11-16). Artist Studio Summer Camp runs July 8 - August 2, 2024.

Camp Director - Artist Studio Summer Camp

Pullen Arts Center is seeking responsible, enthusiastic individuals who love working with teens and pre-teens to serve as Camp Director for Artist Studio Summer Camp 2024. This position is responsible for supporting the supervision of day-to-day operations of Artist Studio Summer Camp at Pullen Arts Center. The Camp Directors should be attentive and committed to the well-being of all young artists. The Camp Director will gain experience in program planning, behavior management, and parent communication. The Camp Director will guide the Camp Specialists in camp check-in/out procedures, oversee the Creative Studio as the camp base and Open Studio area, and support Teaching Artists in enforcing behavior management plan. Duties also include guiding other staff, problem-solving, organizing supplies, planning, and leading activities, ensuring safety/risk management policies are being followed, completing behavior/disciplinary paperwork for participants, keeping records when first aid or medication is administered, and providing excellent customer service while interacting with parents/guardians. The ideal candidate will have the necessary knowledge and skills to establish creative activities and have ample enthusiasm to work with teens ages 11-16.
