Keynote Speaker

James Montague Headshot

This year's keynote speaker is James Montague, President of F7 International Development. Mr. Montague began his entrepreneurial journey in Southeast Raleigh, starting with cutting hair in his mother's kitchen at 14. By 19, he opened his first salon, later expanding to real estate development, including Statue Side Business Plaza at 27.

Mr. Montague has several completed residential and commercial projects including Elders Peak Apartments, a Senior Living Residential Facility in Raleigh, NC. He recently celebrated the ribbon cutting of his latest project, Montague Plaza, just two blocks from where he grew up.

When asked about the name of his company, F7 International Development, he explains that the “F” stands for Faith In Action. He believes that Faith is what drives him to be a problem-solver and to reach back and help others.
