City of Raleigh employees are joining together in a St. Baldrick’s fundraiser for childhood cancer research. Each year, a group of City employees agrees to solicit donations for St. Baldrick’s during January and March.
“On March 12, we have our finale at the City’s Public Utilities Operations Center at 3304 Lake Woodard Road,” said Andy Brogden of the City’s Public Utilities Department. “We shave our heads in solidarity with the children that have lost their hair due to chemotherapy or radiation treatment.”
