Position Title: Service Specialist (Concrete Mason) Position Number: 075-09 Closing Date: 7/2/09 Salary Range: $23,801 - $37,046 Department:Public Works Division: Street Maintenance Location: 1027 N. West Street
Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of concrete and bricklaying experience. HS diploma (or GED). A Valid NC Class "B" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain within 15 days of date of hire.
Position Duties: Sets forms, mixes concrete, screens concrete to a level plane; trowels, groves and edges the surface. Repairs new and old concrete work where wear has developed. Operates air compressor, mortar mixer, tamp and jackhammer to remove damaged concrete.
